I had my first art show at 9 and 1/2 years old. I spent my weekends painting scenes from the beach on the Gulf of Mexico or sketching shells and drift wood. Life in Corpus Christi Texas was simple for children.
I was educated at the University of Texas and graduated with a bachelor of Journalism. While living in Houston Texas I hand painted tuxedo shirts for 6 years until the oil business went through a change. I painted everything from table cloths to canvas as well.
When I arrived in Los Angeles I began hanging art shows all over the city in a rotating office troupe.
As life has it I moved to Bloomfield Hills with someone I met in Los Angeles. Cilla Scott Design Studio showed my work for the 3 years I was there.
Now I live back in the great city of Los Angeles again. I have been able to have my art show in a scene in Curb Your Enthusiasm shot at the Woman’s Club of Hollywood. I have sold a great deal of art to different offices in Houston Texas and clients in Los Angeles.
I try to reflect a positive side to the imagination in my surrealistic art. Live Love Laugh.
Thank you for your time…….Cleo Rose
